On May 2nd 2023 we hosted in Nicosia the final multiplier event of the “European Youth for Sustainability and Digitalization-EYSAD” project, a 2-year project co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme.
Delegates were introduced to the results of our project, which combine the concepts of sustainability and digitalization. We additionally shared our experiences from its implementation in the participating countries, Germany, Hungary and Lithuania.
We demonstrated the innovative elements of our project which is designed to promote sustainability through digital media engagement, by combining the use of virtual reality technologies and immersive learning, with story telling and script writing.
We also discussed the history and importance of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations for our planet, which started in 2012 at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development in Rio (Rio+20), and how young generations can support in their achievement.
We are thrilled to actively contribute wih our work towards the achievement of the European Union’s strategic goals for a more sustainable and digital future for our planet.
