Vernian RTI proudly hosted the kick-off meeting of the SHE@CYBER project, on February 12 and 13, bringing together all consortium partners in our joint effort to advance women’s participation in the cybersecurity field.
Held in Nicosia, Cyprus, the meeting set the stage for strategic discussions aimed at fostering a diverse and inclusive cybersecurity workforce.
The SHE@CYBER project, co-funded by the European Union, coordinated by Vernian RTI and supported by a consortium of prestigious partners, Gestión Estratégica e Innovación, Exeo Lab Srl, Innovation Hive and ISACA Europe, is designed to address the critical gender gap in the cybersecurity domain.
By developing a number of deliverables, including a comprehensive curriculum and roadmap, the project aspires to empower women with the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to thrive in cybersecurity roles.
The consortium discussed the project’s objectives, milestones, and expected outcomes, emphasising on the importance of promoting gender diversity in cybersecurity.
Consortium partners shared insights into the work completed to date and upcoming activities.
